FAQs

  • Description teYes, it is free but limited to 3 albums. A Pro subscription unlocks unlimited albums and all features for just $4.99 USD per year. The price is intentionally low to help cover running costs and keep the app completely ad free.

  • Registering allows you to purchase the Pro subscription. Your account also enables CloudKit sync across your devices and lets you back up and export your collection. The only personal information stored is your email address and device ID. You can read more in the Privacy Policy.

  • There are two ways. The first is the native Apple TV app, search for Crate Digger on the Apple TV App Store and download it directly. Once installed, log in with your account to sync your collection automatically. You can then use Companion Mode on your iPhone to control the Apple TV display wirelessly in real time.

    The second option is Chromecast. From the iOS app you can cast your album art directly to any Chromecast enabled TV.

  • Crate Digger supports Discogs integration. Go to Settings and connect your Discogs account to import your collection automatically via the Discogs API.

  • They hide automatically so you get a clean, uninterrupted view of your album art. Just tap the screen once and they will reappear.

  • Not at this stage. Crate Digger is currently available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.

  • Use the form below and provide as much detail as possible so I can reproduce the issue and work on a fix.

  • When logged in, go to Settings, then Advanced Data Options, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
