ceiv designs is an independent practice built around one idea: the details matter.

Whether it is an iOS app that makes your vinyl collection look beautiful on any screen, a communications framework that helps organisations keep their people informed during change, or a piece of visual design that makes something complex feel simple, the thinking is the same. Good work is designed around the people experiencing it.

The practice works across three areas.

Internal communications Strategic communications consulting for organisations that need their people informed, prepared and moving in the same direction. Engagements cover communications strategy, content design, channel management, leadership messaging and engagement frameworks.

Design and creative Visual design, digital content and brand work for clients who want things to look as good as they work. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and XD.

The Work

The professional side of ceiv designs is internal communications for organisations going through transformation and change. The work spans communication strategy, leadership messaging, all staff communications, intranet content, hybrid Town Hall production and stakeholder engagement.

Organisations going through transformation need their people to be informed, prepared and moving in the same direction. That does not happen by accident. It takes a clear strategy, the right channels, well timed communication and leaders who know what to say before their teams start asking questions.

The Thinking

Most organisations still approach internal communications the same way they did twenty years ago. A lengthy all staff email from the leadership team. A Town Hall once a quarter. A PowerPoint nobody asked for. Then a follow up asking why engagement is low.

The problem is not the channels. It is the thinking behind them.

Employees today are not sitting at a desk waiting for information to arrive. They are moving through their day across multiple tools, devices and contexts, often managing complexity that did not exist a decade ago. The way people learn, consume information and decide how to act has changed. Organisations that communicate as though it has not are creating friction and disengagement without realising it.

Good internal communications starts with the audience, not the message. It asks who is receiving this, what do they actually need to know, when do they need it and what are they going to do with it. It means segmenting by role, by cohort, by proximity to the change and by readiness to act. It means building the message around what is in it for that person specifically, not what the organisation needs to say. When communication is tailored to the right audience at the right moment, people read it, understand it and act on it. When it is not, it adds to the noise.

People also do not grow in straight lines. Development is not a ladder with fixed rungs. It is driven by curiosity, opportunity and context. Communication frameworks that recognise this build in multiple pathways, different entry points, different formats and different levels of depth depending on where someone is and what they are ready for. Curiosity driven systems invite people to explore rather than pushing a fixed message at them and hoping it lands. That distinction changes how people relate to the information they receive and to the organisation sending it.

The other shift is treating communication as infrastructure rather than a series of one off sends. Self serve frameworks, governance, templates and analytics that business units can run themselves lift quality across the whole organisation without every message having to come through one person.

All of this matters because employees are not just the recipients of organisational decisions. They are the people who carry them out, represent the business to customers and shape what the organisation feels like from the inside. How informed, prepared and supported they feel directly affects how they perform, how they engage with change and how they show up for the people around them. That connection between communication and organisational performance is not soft. It is one of the most direct levers a business has.

This is the work ceiv designs brings to organisations ready to communicate differently. If that sounds like what your organisation needs, the conversation starts below.
